City of Newcastle Gymnastics Academy: Cheerleading Allstars

CNGA's cheerleading sessions are set at three different levels, with junior and senior athletes being offered a place on a team performing at a level that will stretch and challenge them to become an Allstar Cheerleading Athlete.

Each Allstar Athlete will work through a development programme, with their team, which is specially designed by CNGA's level 1-6 BGU Cheerleading Coach. This will prepare them for the competition standard, within a period of one season, in a fun environment. During this programme Allstar Athletes will develop a variety of core skills including; stunting, tumbling, jumping and dancing.

Allstar Athletes do not need to have prior experience of cheerleading, but must have a desire to develop new skills and accept new opportunities offered to build our team and progress between the levels. This programme is open to all CNGA gymnasts, who would like to join one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.

We anticipate that our Cheerleading Allstars programmes will be extremely popular with places being booked up quickly. Team places will be offered following Team Tryouts or for a paid trial. Should an athlete be placed on a waiting list, this can vary from a few months to a year depending on ability and the needs of the Team.

AGE: 11+ years olds.

PRICE: £8.00 for trial and then pay monthly direct debit.

WHEN: Wednesday - 4pm-6pm, Saturday - 3pm-5pm.
